Richardson’s Reverberations, Monetizing Traditions & Naming Rights Redux

In “The Bar” we analyzed at Anthony Richardson’s recent reckless speeding incident and why it’ll be interesting to see Billy Napier’s first real discipline test as head coach. We discussed the Boston Red Sox adding a sponsor to their Neil Diamond “Sweet Caroline” singalong. We explored other traditions and what their sponsors could be. We wrapped by looking at the Carrier Dome renaming after FOUR decades and looked at the longest running stadium sponsorships in sports with Tropicana Field now moving into the Top Three.


Brady & Bruce, Coach K’s Final Four & MLB Patchwork

In “The Bar” we looked at the rumors that Tom Brady wanted Bruce Arians out as head coach of the Bucs. And if he did, so what? We took a final look at Coach K’s last Final Four and why it means more to the critics that he lose than to the Dukies that he wins. We wrapped by discussing MLB’s plan to allow ad patches on jerseys. We even offered our suggestions.
